Dr. Ajay Patel, professor and the GMAC Chair in Finance at the Wake Forest University Schools of Business, will share initial findings on how gender, education and culture impact the career motivations of entrepreneurs in Nicaragua during a May 31 presentation.
His presentation is part of a long term, cross-country, study that is assessing factors that help or hinder small and medium enterprises (SME) in the global marketplace. The study also aims to determine how to transform micro-enterprises into SMEs and measure and test the short- and long-term impact of current models of training, microfinance and coaching in use today.
Dr. Patel's presentation will run from 11:30 am to 1 pm at 200 North College Street in Charlotte. Interested in attending? Register here.
